For high on-demand needs, the MI40 Touch can handle up to 300 (double espresso) cups per day. It features an icon-based interface easily navigated with a 3.5” touchscreen and four user-programmable dose timers for each of the grinder’s three operating modes. Standard mode dispenses a set dose, “Push & Grind” allows the barista to double or triple a dose with a rapid touch, and holding down the button, Barista mode, enables a continuous grind.

The MI40 includes some impressive technology to help handle a cafe rush without compromising quality. Air is drawn up through the grinder’s base to assist the adjustable cooling fan, keeping the motor, burrs and coffee cool during heavy operation which should maintain grind consistency and shot-times. Equipped with a 1.2kg hopper and 65mm flat, hardened steel burrs, this grinder might not be the biggest, but it is highly efficient and effective, brimming with modern tech and the latest in attractive conveniences.
