The Motta Portafilter Dosing Cup allows you to dose into a cup instead of directly into the portafilter. The cup then fits neatly into the upside-down portafilter and allows you to transfer the coffee easily and without mess. Not only does this tool help to reduce waste, but it creates a much more evenly distributed coffee bed prior to tamping, resulting in better extractions and better tasting espresso.
