Mylo Pebble Coffee Scale

Our friends at Mylo Coffee Company have already built a reputation in South Africa around their coffee grinders. We're thrilled to see that they are now branching out into more coffee accessories, including the new Mylo Pebble coffee scale.

What sets Mylo apart is that it's a South African venture with the aim of arming more local coffee lovers with the tools they need to make a great brew, without breaking the bank. They've made great progress towards their goal with a full range of manual coffee grinders (arguably the most important brewing tool) at surprisingly affordable prices. Now, they've set their sights on what might be the second most important type of accessory.

The Mylo Pebble is designed to offer a coffee brewer or home barista everything they would want in a scale in a small and affordable package. The Mylo Pebble may be diminutive in stature but it's fast, accurate and easy to use. It features an LED display and allows you to both weigh and time your brews. It also has special brewing modes for pour-over and espresso applications, making it appropriate for any use case. Because of its size and the fact that it's splash-resistant, you can use the Pebble in an espresso machine's drip tray to measure yields, just as well as you can use it to control your variables on your manual brews.

We put the Pebble through its paces before it was released and so we were very pleasantly surprised when we heard what the price tag will be. Once again, Mylo is making it easy for South African coffee geeks to get the tools they need to improve their extractions!
