When Rocket first developed the Cronometro (previously the Evoluzione), its goal was simple: give home baristas the technology and performance usually reserved for commercial machines. Now updated to the Fast line, these PID-equipped domestic espresso machines feature a commercial-style rotary pump for consistent performance and quiet operation with the flexibility to choose between the internal water reservoir, or be directly plumbed-in.

Meticulously refined in collaboration with Valerio Cometti + V12 Design, the new Giotto and Mozzafiato offer a sturdy, ergonomic workflow while housing a large, 1.8L nickel-plated copper boiler with heat exchange that is designed to prevent internal oxidation. Thoughtful touches like independent steam and water wands, with height-adjustable feet make daily use a pleasure.

About the Rocket Fast

New to the Rocket Fast line is a dedicated heating element inside the group head, a feature first seen on the Appartamento TCA. This rapid-heat technology means the machine is ready for its first shot in about 12 minutes. To take the guesswork out of your morning routine, a colour-changing indicator signals exactly when the machine has reached optimal brew temperature. The electronics have also been updated; a new OLED display allows you to view shot times, manage brew parameters (such as boiler and unit temperature), and monitor machine errors. This system is programmed via three buttons tucked behind the drip tray, and includes a USB-port for firmware updates.

Giotto & Mozzafiato - Two Different Styles

The Rocket Fast Type R is available in two styles: the flared and angular Giotto, or the sleek, flat-sided Mozzafiato. Both share identical internals, so you can simply choose the aesthetic that best fits your counter!
