Slayer is a name of legend in the speciality coffee space. It is probably best known for the Slayer Espresso, its flagship machine that offers groundbreaking control through flow rate flavour profiling. Where that machine is designed from the ground up to optimise extraction, the Steam series from Slayer is designed to optimise work flow and production.

To say that the Steam EP is Slayer's entry level machine would be true, but in a way misleading. While it is the most affordable entry point into Slayer's iconic range of commercial espresso machines, it also compares with the very best of many of the other big brands out there. It has all the technology you might want including separate brew and steam boilers, volumetric controls and independent PID-controlled brew tanks. It is very much a top end espresso machine.

The Steam EP includes a centralised digital barista dashboard which can be password protected, making it easy for the senior barista or manager to set and control brewing parameters including pre-wetting. Its massive work space and volumetric controls will allow baristas to operate efficiently and get the next drink out as quickly as possible.

The Steam EP breaks with traditional a little, trading in Slayer's typical paddle controls for more familiar push buttons, but this means it has an interface that your typical barista will be much more comfortable with. It still offers all the quality, consistency and reliability of a Slayer machine, as well as an eye catching design that will make it a show piece in any café. Perhaps most importantly, it's designed for high output, making it ideal for large coffee operations.
